On November 30, 2024, VDNH will launch its 10th-anniversary “Winter Country,” a true winter wonderland for the whole family. Visitors will be treated to the city’s largest ice rink, covering 2,500 square meters, alongside attractions like the “Orangery of Wonders,” a Venetian carousel, a breathtaking Ferris wheel, an Alpine slide, “Santa’s Residence,” the “Christmas Dream Factory,” a festive market, and much more.
A special highlight will be the Christmas food court, where guests can savor grilled delicacies, an updated fast-food menu from Rebernia, mouthwatering desserts, aromatic mulled wine, and hot drinks to suit any taste.

Cosmic Ice Rink at Respublika Park Mall
On November 30, the unique “Cosmic Ice Rink” will open near the Respublika Park Mall. This futuristic ice arena, covering 1,800 square meters, promises to be the highlight of the winter season.
The centerpiece of this rink is a mirrored Christmas tree in the shape of a spaceship, crafted from gift boxes. The tree will reflect the glow of thousands of garlands, creating the effect of a starry sky with constellations above the ice. Adding to the unique experience is an interactive arch that skaters can glide through for even more fun.
Visitors can also take memorable photos at designated zones, such as the tunnel entrance or on the ice itself. For convenience, the venue will feature food courts offering winter treats and a cozy mulled wine bar.

From December 9 to January 28, 2024, the “Crystal Ice Rink” will operate under the open sky on the Dnipro River embankment near River Mall. Spanning 1,600 square meters, the rink will feature a festive Christmas tree stylized as a giant crystal, adding a unique charm to the winter setting.
Visitors will also enjoy a large Italian carousel and food courts offering hot drinks and delicious dishes. Convenient changing rooms and lockers will be available on-site for storing belongings.

On November 30, the Ice Lights skating rink at the Platform Art Factory near the Darinok Market Mall began its new season. In case of an air raid alert, skating sessions temporarily pause, and guests can use the mall’s shelter. Once the alert ends, the rink resumes operations. If there are power outages, the rink operates during daylight hours only, relying on natural lighting.
